Willie Nelson & Bob Dylan singing "You Win Again" right now on...
...USA Network. It's the "Willie Nelson & Friends" concert. It just came on (8:00 Pacific) and is on until 10.

Before this song, it was Willie and Merle Haggard with Joe Walsh playing slide. Something tells me there are going to be about a Zillion guests. Jerry Lee Lewis will be one of them

1. Why the hell is he hanging out with Toby Keith these days?
The rest of the group (the ubiquitous Kid Rock aside) is pretty stellar: Lucinda Williams, Jim Keltner, Keith Richards, Merle Haggard, Dylan, Jerry Lee, et al.

So why is Willy hanging out with über-Rightie Toby Keith? As Natalie from the Dixie Chicks might say, FUTK.

3. They should have dragged Bob Weir out for "Mama Tried"...
...instead of Toby Keith. Or let Haggard sing it...I mean, he was there, dammit...

Ah well...at least it wasn't pay-per-view...

5. This concert is 2 years old.
It was taped in 2002, according to the show guide on my cable box.

6. Not according to the USA Web Site ...
"Willie Nelson's career as a legendary country musician, political activist, and humanitarian has made him an American icon. In 2002, a variety of musical acts paid tribute to Willie during the Willie Nelson & Friends: Stars & Guitars concert, recorded in the capital of country music, Nashville, Tennessee. Last year, a star-studded lineup came out to celebrate Willie's 70th birthday during the Willie Nelson & Friends: Live and Kickin' concert, recorded in New York City. Now, for the third consecutive year, USA Network is proud to present a Willie Nelson Memorial Day music special: Willie Nelson & Friends: Outlaws and Angels."
