Dragonfly encounter - totally OFF topic ANYWHERE, but nice.

First time I've seen one of these, does any one know the specific type?

1. Don't know the specific kind, but in NE Florida, we have dragonflies like

that. We also have red dragonflies, green dragonflies, and orange dragonflies. They look like little helicopters flying around, especially when they land on a flat surface.

We have plenty of the traditional kind too. Just before dusk in the summer, there are certain (mosquito infested areas) where those dragonflies come zooming in like a huge air force.

2. i tried to find out at a book store,

about some drgonflys i saw. but they didn't have a ragonfly book. of course up north here, dragonfly butts are thinner.
