1. Smart alliance and advertizing move.
Conan OBrien predicted "in the yeeeeeear 2000....." Taco bell products would skip a step, and be made from actual diarhea. That pretty much describes the intellectual content of right-wing radio, and the digestive & thought processes of their listeners. This is a marriage made in heaven. Expect to see billboards with Rush hoisting an unrealistic taco into his mammouth pie hole.

Buy a hard shell beef taco and thats a vote for Arnold, ok, fine.

Buy a chicken soft taco and thats a vote for Davis?

Bullshit. Hard shell beef tacos are dime a dozen, are cheap, and come with about every meal.

4. I live in So Cal
and never go to Taco Bell since we have so many authentic mexican food drive-throughs. Some of these places look so dumpy yet make the most tasty dinners you'll ever eat.

7. someone....
correct me if I'm wrong, but Taco bell is owned by pepsico, and I remember reading that pepsicos political contributions went exclusively to repubs. Coke may not be angelic, but I think they divide their political contributions fairly evenly. I drink Coke and eat at Sonic (cause I think Sonic gives primarily to the dems).

You cannot vote for Gray Davis and what is this 'chicken' crap all about - hell - he is a decorated veteran of the Vietnam war! They should call the others the chickens!

How do we go after Taco Bell and give them hell!

Give 'em hell and just say no to the Taco Bell!

24. a brief history
The Frito company was founded in 1932 by Edgar Doolin of San Antonio, the same year that HW Lay and Company was founded by Herbert W Lay.

The two snack food companies merged in September, 1961 to become Frito-Lay.

In February 1965, the Board of Directors for Frito-Lay, Inc. and the Pepsi-Cola Company announced a plan for the merger of the major beverage company with the snack foods company. The merger was approved on June 8 by the shareholders of both companies. As a result, a new company called PepsiCo, Inc. was formed, with Frito-Lay and Pepsi-Cola becoming separate operating divisions.

The fast food divisions came later.

Herbert W Lay was a big backer of bush the elder in his early political career but ton't think he was/is related to kennyboy lay.

16. Davis is a decorated Vietnam Vet - please CALL TACO BELL!!!
1-800-TACO-BELL

Please, call Taco Bell and tell them that they are insulting veterans by calling a decorated Vietnam vet a "chicken" with this poll. Ask them if they think it's funny to insult veterans while American troops are dying every day in Iraq.

They are also misrepresenting what the recall is about. Davis is not a candidate in the recall, Cruz and Arnold are running against each other.

Make sure to tell them that they are insulting all Democrats as well as Veterans with this bullshit.

Tell them it will hurt their business.

Tell all of your friends to call as well, send it to any Democratic mailing lists you have.

You are being boycotted. The Taco Bell 'poll' is disgusting. How dare you degrade a decorated veteran of the Vietnam war (Gov. Gray Davis) by comparing him to a 'chicken'.

You people are sick beyond reproach and I hope that by boycotting your products and spreading this message that it will disrupt your profitable business practices, which stink by the way.

YUM - yeah right! SICK is a better name for your organization!

22. The Slant Exposed
Cost of a Taco Bell Hard Shell Taco - $.79

Cost of a Chicken Soft Taco - $1.99

Cost of a Grilled Stuft Burrito - $2.29

Yeah, there's no slant there at all. If they wanted to at least make it appear that there was no slant, they could have at least oicked three items the same price. A soft-shelled taco, hard-shelled taco, or bean burrito, poll, etc. Also, none of the other items are sold in "packs". You can't get a 10-pack of Chicken Soft Tacos unless you want to pay over 20 bucks for it.

Transparent, to say the least. The real irony here is that the people who will be "voting" for Arnold in alot of cases are exactly the type of people that Republicans wish would disappear, ie. people with fewer resources and those with limited incomes, since they typically try to buy as much as they can for their buck and the Taco is the cheapest thing on the menu.

I don't know how much more I can take of Republicans. I used to be able to just laugh aty them, but they stopped being funny about 3 years ago.
