Ah, the pleasures of dorm roomates...

It seems that what my roomate makes up for in narcisism he lacks in common sense..

After having accidently dropped part of the toilet paper roll holder ( (two cylinders and a spring, the part in question is one of the cylinders) in the toilet, roomate proceeds to flush said toilet (after all, his almighty self couldnt reach into a bowl of water to retrieve it). We are now awaiting to see he and his friends will do to remedy the situation.

Now forced to get his hands in the toilet (emptying it with 2oz cups and scraping around with a wire to try to retrieve it).

Apparently this kid is a foreign exchange student here on a scholarship... makes you wonder.

but my buddy is taking a hot tub with my niece the other night. The next day I go out to put in more chemical (I'm not sure what they did) and find a pack of camels and a lighter in the filter, and the dogs water dish floating on the water.

If you do, you could always use his toothbrush to clean the toilet. If you have separate rooms, you could spray the doorknob to his room with hair spray so it'll be all sticky the next time he tries to get in. Or you could hairspray some of his other stuff if you share a room with him.

Or if he's just a minor irritant you could just sit back and laugh as he makes an ass of himself.

If you're lucky, the waste pipe leading out of the toilet has a u-bend in it. All I had to do was use a plunger a few times, and it appeared.

and he thinks that it went all the way down...

"Hey, if tampons can go down it, why can't that"

Anyhows, I intend to not be the guy who overflows it by going to the bathroom first.

on edit: getting a plunger would require a call to maintenance, and since this prick has called them 3 times in a row to complain about his light, and he never told them what it was he wanted fixed (I had to tell the maintenance guy, it was making noise), they dont want to hear from him AGAIN.

He always did it, & laughed loud about it around 3 a.m. Saturday mornings. :shrug:

It got old after a few months.

He broke that habit when it started to happen to him at 3 in the morning...or around his current date.

go figure.
