Has Spyware invaded DU?
Whats the deal? I keep seeing posts where one or two words will be highlighted and underlined, providing an outside link. When you go there, it is your basic advertising/spyware type crap.

Mods?????? What is this?

There's some spyware that creates hyperlinks out of regular text.

Use Spybot or AdAware to get rid of it.

ON EDIT: I think it may be called eZula. Google it.

5. I wouldn't have believed how good mozilla is, but I've got in running now
thanks to other posts about it here on DU, and wow! No more hijacking attempts or pop-ups. So long, IE!

If you get things like that, it's on your computer, not DU. Try downloading AdAware.
