My little local here in the NYC 'burbs has very good Guinness.

Ever tried Beamish?
I reckon it's better than Guinness and Murphys.
I used to drink it all the time when I lived in London and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it a while back at my local beer store.

If you haven't tried, keep an eye out. It's very good. :beer:

The closest thing I will drink is Shiner Bach. It is a dark amber. Very smooth taste.

Dark, strong and frothy. :beer:

So I guess that has to be my beer too.

I just never developed a taste for Guiness

Haven't tried Beamish, yet. I sure I can find it here. There's a big speciality wine, beer and spirits shop that carries imported beers not well known here.
