as much as a lot of people, I've been around DU for about three years, maybe more. I think that I've gone through a lot of anger and hostility, but rather than raging at the whole "world" of Repubs, my aim has narrowed over time. I now see more of my contempt aimed at people like Coulter, Limbaugh, and such--people who would turn in their mothers if their mothers ever uttered the word "liberal" or other such. I see my hatred of Bush and Cheney turning into a world-weary cynicism that at any point where I think I've heard and seen it all from both or either of them, something even worse happens. I have gotten more angry at the religious right because of their continued arrogance in trying to blur that line between church and state, and I have come to not trust the mainstream media on any issue, regardless of whether it's political or not.

I go back and forth between feeling hopeless and powerless and feeling optimistic because change sure is due. Everyone matters here, no matter how much they post. :D

When I was first here, it took 6 months to get to 100. I just read, and read, and read. A lot.

I'm not able to pay people the hefty fees to gush about me that I once was. :7

that people would be doing that for free.

Moderate sometime. Test that theory.

I thought you guys had your own health spa and groupies. Now next you'll be telling me that they don't pay you for what you do.
