2. it bothers me
as a symptom of a public education system being torn down year by year, defunding after defunding. If someone couldn't tell me (for example) what a gerund is, I wouldn't care, but like the graphic suggests, this is fundamental American English.

also, I'm stealing your graphic. I mean "graph'c"

4. As a copy editor, this severely annoys me.

it doesn't bother me at all. I think we should go back to the 19th century standard when spelling and grammar were not standard.

7. The one I reaallllly hate is
where they use it to pluralize a family such as the Brown's , it should be the Browns, only use the apostrophe when it is the possessive such as the Browns' house.
