Gas $2.48 in San Francisco but what is it in Canada?
My friend says it is 81 cents a liter, and my chart says there is 3.785 liters in a gallon. My math comes out to be $3.06 a gallon. Is that right?

1. Yes, but
Cdn$3.06 at $0.72 for the Canadian dollar is US$2.20 per gallon.

5. perfect
thanks Newsjock, that is exactly what I trying to figure out, the conversion price...so it is similar to U.S. It was about $2.09 today when I passed the pump. The traffic was noticeably light as I had to go across town...I wonder if it is because of gas prices?!

6. And there is a difference between
an American gallon and an Imperial gallon...which we Canucks and the UK use.

By having all your own measurements, you make it very difficult to figure out where you stand compared to the other countries in the world.

Interesting, no?

Look at the lower lines on this graph...

We get screwed once again, cheers!

EDIT~ My spelling sucks. Plus the Marketer and Refinery costs are both higher in the US.

3. The Bush Crime Family is doing this to create dissent against Davis same
as the electricity scam. Independent Council is what Dems. should be calling for.

7. It was at 71.9 cents per the last time I checked here in London...
81 seems *really* high to me. Then again, I don't drive, and I haven't been by a gas station since Tuesday, so my info could be a little dated.
