Has anyone read "Towing Jehovah" ?
http://www.sff.net/people/Jim.Morrow/towing.html

It's not carried at any of the local stores here in Sarasota but it looks interesting. I think I'll just oder in online.

Apparently it pokes fun at all of us too, "Hired by a band of militant atheists who can't abide the idea that God once existed, the World War Two Reenactment Society attacks Anthony's cargo with dive bombers and torpedo planes."!

"James Morrow's Towing Jehovah doesn't have to take a back seat to any novel written in this century in terms of audacity ... This is a book that should make everyone--from atheist to devout believer--think about things they never may have considered before."

William Marden
Orlando Sentinel

Well? It appears to be taking a totally different tack on the debate. Sure looks intriguing to me.

2. Did you like it?
Was it well written? Was the story line captivating enough to keep the pages turning?

3. It was interesting
The story concept was enough to keep the pages turning. I enjoyed the book to a degree but it bothered me on a certain level that I could never quite figure out, although it didn't have anything to do with the concept of God dying and being towed by a boat. We all have different tastes in literature ... it's definitely worth a read either way
