vandalized bumper sticker
First one this election cycle, someone wrote on my wife's bumpersticker reading "Christian and a Democrat." We THINK they wrote "stupid" on it with a thin black marker, but it's hard to read it was written so poorly and my wife swears they mispelled "stupid." Typical fascist RW-think, vandalize what you don't like. Of course, it will be replaced soon enough.

HEY FREEPR, your homework for tonight, read the 1st amendment of the Constitution!

1. Some freepers pulled my
"Jesus was a Liberal" sticker clean off of my truck but left "US out of my Uterus."

I like to imagine them standing there asking each other "What the hell's a Uterus? Should we be offended?"

5. I love watching people behind me read my bumpersticker...
They occasionally mouth the words as they read them and their reactions have been entertaining, to say the least.

"God was my copilot, but we crashed in the mountains and I had to eat him"

Sunday mornings are usually the best...

HI Bertha! How is you folks' garden? Mine is out of control. Lots of lilies and daisies, the echinachea are about to bloom. My clematis is pretty much done. And my shade plants are still surviving. What a weird gardening year.

14. our honeysuckle is done with its fragrance, & one of our dogwoods died :(
Our azaleas are long done blooming, of course. My herbs -- basil & catnip -- are exploding. No red peppers yet, but they're blooming. And we have several marble-sized green tomatoes.

No more flowers til fall, I'm afraid.

Oh, almost forgot: our pansies came back! I thought they were just annuals.
