What's your 'Dumbest Bush Quote Ever'?
Mine is:
"I want to thank my friend, Senator Bill Frist, for joining us today. You're doing a heck of a job. You cut your teeth here, right? That's where you started practicing? That's good. He married a Texas girl, I want you to know. Karyn is with us. A West Texas girl, just like me."

:D

This one sounds like it must have come after he had been drinking heavily all night. I'm still waiting for somebody to ask him about his drinking and drug use under oath. This one cracks me up the most, but the rest are good too...there are more...LOLOLOL - MORON!

"Families is where our nation finds hope, where wings take dream."

--LaCrosse, Wisconsin; October 18 2000

"And there's no doubt in my mind, not one doubt in my mind, that we will fail."

--Washington, D.C.; October 4, 2001

"I would be helpful if we opened up ANWR . I think it's a mistake not to. And I would urge you all to travel up there and take a look at it, and you can make the determination as to how beautiful that country is."

Washington, D.C.; March 29, 2001

"I've changed my style somewhat, as you know. I'm less--I pontificate less, although it may seem hard to tell it from this show. And I'm more interacting with people."

--Meet the Press; Feb 13, 2000

"The folks who conducted to act on our country on September 11 made a big mistake. They underestimated America. They underestimated our resolve, our determination, our love for freedom. They misunderestimated the fact that we love a neighbor in need. They misunderestimated the compassion of our country. I think they misunderestimated the will and determination of the commander in chief, too."

--Langley, Virginia; September 26, 2001

"The world is more peaceful and more free under my leadership."
-- Dubya, President of the World, White House, Oct. 28, 2003

"There's nothing more deep than recognizing Israel's right to exist. That's the most deep thought of all... I can't think of anything more deep than that right."

--Washington, D.C.; March 13, 2002

"But all in all, it's been a fabulous year for Laura and me."

--Showing a new rug in the Oval Office; Dec. 21 2001

"It is time to set aside the old partisan bickering and finger-pointing and name-calling that comes from freeing parents to make different choices for their children."

--Remarks on "parental empowerment in education,"
Washington, D.C.; April 12, 2001

"In other words, I don't think people ought to be compelled to make the decision which they think is best for their family."

--Washington, DC; Dec 11, 2002

"I think we ought the age at which juneniles can have a gun."

--St. Louis, October 18, 2000

"It's not a dictatorship in Washington, but I tried to make it one in that instance."

-- Chilling way to describe his executive order making faith-based groups eligible for federal subsidies, New Orleans, Louisiana, Jan. 15, 2004

LOL That's right b*sh - Stand your ground:

"I was proud the other day when both Republicans and Democrats stood with me in the Rose Garden to announce their support for a clear statement of purpose you disarm, or we will."

--Speaking about Saddam Hussein; Manchester New Hampshire; October 5, 2002

The guy is funny. Kind of like that William Hung guy, possibly mentally defective, but entertaining. Somebody ought to give him a sitcom after he loses the election this year.

5. this really proves none of these thoughts are his..they're something
he's tried to learn line by line and it's become jumbled up inside his head because there is no substance behind what he is saying..reading a script and doing it badly.

I cannot understand why others can take him seriously ( apart from how deadly he is)..they must be as shallow as he is.

7. I will confess my personal quote about bush......
"well he is president now. Maybe he will grow into the office. I am often surprised by the people that are elected to the presidency and become more responsible and presidential" I was hopefull and trying to shine some hope on a bad situation......I couldn't have been more wrong.

13. This one requires step-by-step analysis:
There's an old saying in Tennessee...

Oh, this ought to be good.

I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee...

I doubt it. The cultural gap between Texas and Tennessee is just so damned wide.

... that says, fool me once, shame on...

Go on, Georgie, don't be shy. Shame on who?

... shame on you.

Very good! Now, the second half?

Fool me...

Good so far. Don't give up!

... you can't get fooled again.

Uh... you've been listening to The Who again, haven't you Georgie?

where she said something like, "The President tried to keep up the pressure." Oh yeah, the English language is a pressured one indeed.

17. "I know how important it is to put food on the family". Especially so...
Considering that the motherfucker has NO idea whatsoever what it's like to know economic hardship or deprivation. For him to suggest that he has even the slightest clue, the smallest inkling of what ordinary Americans's lives are like is nothing short of obscene.

direct from the horses ass. I don't care what your politics are, if you are too dumb to see the value in reading a (couple) of newspapers per day you shouldn't have access to a massive military.

20. "I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family."
Or, the one I heard on the radio this morning, about the Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit:

Now, this isn't verbatim. God knows what he said verbatim. But the upshot of his comment is this:

"Just because the PCB is complicated isn't a good reason not to use it."

21. I found this at Snopes.com
MAKE THE PIE HIGHER
by George W. Bush

I think we all agree, the past is over.
This is still a dangerous world.
It's a world of madmen and uncertainty
and potential mental losses.

Rarely is the question asked
Is our children learning?
Will the highways of the Internet become more few?
How many hands have I shaked?

They misunderestimate me.
I am a pitbull on the pantleg of opportunity.
I know that the human being and the fish can coexist.
Families is where our nation finds hope, where our wings take dream.

Put food on your family!
Knock down the tollbooth!
Vulcanize society!
Make the pie higher! Make the pie higher!
