Euro 2004 games on TV?

Are any of the games televised in the USA?

I have to attend a wedding on Sat., June 19th and my native country, the Netherlands, is playing the Czechs. Any chance the local bars will carry the game? The wedding is in an area N of Baltimore, MD.

We are spoiled here in Canada as TSN and Fox Sports World Canada are carrying all the games (live) between them for no extra charge.

The Netherlands are facing Germany this afternoon. The orange national team shirts is in my briefcase and I'll be off to the nearest pub at 2:30pm. It's always a good rivalry with a few hostilities.

There are some pubs showing the games but they charge at least $20 to get in the door. Pubs have to pay a small fortune to get the pay per view so in light of this, $20 is reasonable.

You'll probably have to find an English pub and then call them to see if they are showing the games.

It sucks because this time Fox Sports World (US)aren't even showing the games on a delay.

Good luck finding a pub and HUP HOLLAND.

The best I could find were the BBC's live audio feeds. It's not the same but at least you know what's going on and the games have been fairly entertaining.

They are showing the stadium, and it looks as if they're going to show the game as well (MBC). If you can live with a Korean commentator, this seems like the best way to get the game stateside for free.

Unfortunately I probably won't have access to a computer on Saturday afternoon.

Yesterday's 1-1 draw against Germany was strangely disappointing yet satisfying. The Dutch play was the disappointment and the result was satisfactory.

The fact that these games are not regularly televised is yet another reason that I have to convince my American wife that we should stay in Canada.
