12. Truthfully, from the gut...

I'm an honest person who truly tries to live my life for the purpose of a higher good. I'm not especially religious, but I have enough of a spiritual sense not to be a selfish jerk either. I don't know if there is a Heaven or what there is, but I think there's something more that what we can understand in some way. My biggest "sin" has often been not taking care of my own needs, standing up for what I want, and I'm now trying to find some type of a healthy balance in life between selflessness and selfishness.
