Edited on Fri Jun-18-04 08:06 PM by Oz
I grew up listening to Doo Wap and Frankie Lymon and a bunch of other great groups. I'm the youngest of the boys and I remember listening to my brother Pauls's doo wap group practicing
grape cherry lemon lime
J-e-l-l-o bot de dot dot
Grape cherry lemon lime.......etc.
Maybe it's a Philly thing. LOL
My brother Paul had the nickname of Clark cause he used to go to bandstand and dance a lot. When the guys he hung with saw me coming up to the corner to hang they said here comes little clark. Good times. The name stuck and my first band was known as Little Clark. LOL

I guess thats why I was mainly a vocalist (+rythum guitar) in the bands I ended up in.
It was a very good time.

3. Lee Andrews and the Hearts.........................
I grew up singing their songs. My favorite album at the time was their greatest hits. Yes, greatest hits, a lot of great ballads.
