So is Alvin Lee in for a comeback with Farenheit 911?
Alvin Lee and 10 Years After Song "I'd Love to Change the World" has been getting a lot of play in the ads for F911.

Think ol Alvin will be making the comneback trail? Is he even alive?

1. From what I heard in the trailer....................

That was the perfect lick. One life experience I still have to check off is being able to play "I'm going home by helicopter" WOODSTOCK.

3. I think Old Alvin must've been a classic speed freak
At least he looked like one, and his guitar went 90 mph.

Yeah I'll have to dig out my old Woodstock album for I'm going home.

2. I loved the album A Space in Time . . .
Used to listen to that one on acid. That's the album with I'd Love to Change the World, plus Here they Come about aliens taking over. Just a great album, think I'll go out and buy that one again even though I listen to new music mostly now.

9. It's an all-time top ten rock album in my book
Alvin Lee is one of those extraordinary guitar players that emerged in the late sixties, and that album really highlights his talents. Just about every cut is memorable -- not only I'd Love to Change the World, but especially Hard Monkeys and Once Upon A Time.

Alvin absolutely rocks. All you youngsters out there, this is an album waiting for your discovery. You won't be disappointed.

I got the album "Cricklewood Green" when it came out, when I was in eighth grade. Got the Woodstock album when it came out too. (I'm proud of the fact that I had good taste in music at that young an age.) :-)

I'm pretty sure he's still alive, but I don't know what he's doing--or what shape he's in--these days.

8. I love Alvin Lee
A totally amazing and underrated guitarist. Yeah, I hope he is in for a comeback. Perfect song for the trailer. And that song is total proof that nothing fucking changes.

10. Wasn't he in "The Chipmunks"?
"I'd love to change the world,
But I don't know what do do,
So I want a hula hoo-o-o-p!"
