1. Let's make it in Seattle
and I'm in. When was the last time there was a Seattle DU gathering? Actually, I could be persuaded to go to SF for a weekend (yeah, twist my rubber arm for that).:hi:

3. SF does have the finest Mexican Food you will find
next to El Lay....

If we do it in SF it is kind of a middle ground (although technically middle of the way would be Arcata, another cool place....but I digress)

4. As a point of contention
There is really some great Mexican food in Chicago. Not that I'm suggesting the W. Coasters meet there, but I digress.

My good friends got married last year at the chapel at the Presidio and had their reception at Greens. It was awesome.

6. But SF is cheap if you stay in Berzerkeley
Trust me :)

We could hold it in Arcata tho....a city where 420 is legal (and yes it is)

7. I'm actually intrigued by an Arcata gathering
I dare you to set it up - I just might drive down.

Although, I think a gathering in Weed might be funnier. :D

9. Lol...tho Weed is a Freeper town
But Arcata might be fun....420 is legal at the city and county level for ANY use...beautiful redwoods all over...

Perhaps it should be Arcata...I do love that city.

10. Imagine being a Freeper living in Weed
I love it. Those dumbshits would't get irony if it belted them in the face.

I've always appreciated the sign near there that has one arrow pointing to "Weed" and the other to "College." Yes, sadly, so many of us have stood at that proverbial intersection in our lives.:D

But it wasn't me!

I was dead at the time!

I'm an 'up with people', 'get high on yourself' kinda guy!

Not buying it?

14. There's always Vegas. Granted, a severe departure from the ambience of
Arcata (or, for that matter, just about any place else), but it's a city that people flock to from all over and has the requisite amenities. Cheap airfares, too, from many places, if flyings the order of the day.

16. But no man or woman should ever have to face that city sober...
Aaron Sorkin and Hunter S both agree...friends don't let friends do Vegas without the help of funny mushrooms....
