Brian Wilson...I've said it once.....
...and I'll say it again. Brian was/is just too unbelievable. I am watching this documentary again for the umpteenth time. I hated the Beach Boys for 35 years...Now I am blown away for the last 5 years.
Just wanted to say this again...thank you for listening.
They have a real cool version of "There's a riot goin on".

1. Great song. Haven't heard it in years
The winds of change fanned into flames
Student demonstations spark.
Is that correct? or close

7. I also hated them for 35 years and have loved them the past five...
I was into other sounds and never gave them a good listen until five years ago. Best to get into with a pair of headphones. It will open up a whole new world.

8. Love Brian and the Boys, don't like their Lieber and Stoller cover
They could have released Surf's Up as an EP, or even a single with just Surf's Up backed with 'Til I Die on it and I would have been very happy with the result. Jack Reilly should never have been involved.

13. I have two
One is called Endless Harmony and the other is called An American Band. I just didn't like them because songs about cars and surfing didn't do it for me back then. It wasn't until I really checked them out that I saw they did a lot more than that. There is so much music out there that they got lost in the shuffle with me.

16. Their stretch of albums from '65 to '71 has some incredible songs
They had some great bits after that period (and before) but nothing so consistently awe-inspiring. Even as late as '77 with Love You they were able to put out a great, consistent album.

Even for 35 seconds, let alone 35 years....I'm glad you finally saw the light!
