That's my college radio show from UConn, which features little-heard soul tunes of the '60s and '70s. Tonight, I'll be interviewing soul sister Betty Harris ("Cry To Me," 1963), who's coming up from Hartford to appear live on the air with me!

by Jackie Wilson.

To me, Jackie Wilson's voice is what the voice of God must be
like. I love the way it soars out into space, the way he can
run up and down such a great range of notes. I love the guy.
