5. OK - this is very ignorant of me but - what is it with the cowbell jokes?
with this song? I know I'm missing something - Jack Black made fun of it in the Tenacious D concert - I've seen it here umpteen times. I'm not too proud to ask - wtf?

7. Its an SNL skit
I actually didn't like it the first time I saw it, but I loved it when I saw it again on rerun.

8. It was a skit on SNL.

It involved the Blue Oyster Cult (not the real band obviously) and Christopher Walken. They were practicing the song "Don't Fear the Reaper" and Christopher, the producer, kept saying he wanted more cowbell. It was hilarious.
