is leather with real sheepskin lining. I've had it forever. Used to be my big brother's, but he grew out of them. I don't why it's Freudian, but what the hell, why not? :shrug:

...probably came about when I needed mummy to save me from my own hand. See I'd tied my package into a guy line hitch, and couldn't undo it.

From a knot tying web site:

"Pull down the running part (toward the stake) to tighten the tent guy; pull the other way to loosen."

and,

"If you tie this knot and massage it a bit, you'll see that it's kin to the bowline and sheetbend. In fact, many people tie this "Sitka knot" by mistake when trying to tie one of these two more common knots."
