Hey everyone, a big thank you from my mom

Mom writes:

I just wanted to let you all know how much your condolences meant to me and to thank so many of you for sharing the stories of your own losses and how you coped with all of it. I'm glad to know that so many of the different emotions I've gone through in the last 5 days are normal and that things will be better in time.You people are the best: compassionate,empathetic, and you've all made me feel a lot better. You have been a great source of comfort for Jess and I thank you all for that.

Thought I'd post this in its own thread in case people don't think to look at the old thread about my dad passing.

8. I swear I just saw a question in Ask the Admins

about two DUers using the same email address, but I couldn't come up with a keyword search that would produce it again. However, we know there are DUers using multiple screennames, 'cause they tell us so, so I think you can take it as given that your mom can sign up using your email address for a new account. You might want to Ask the Admins first just to be on the safest side of course.

10. Am really glad you guys are through the worst of it...

You're going through a very difficult time that many of us have been through before. Just work through the process of accepting things gradually, as you're ready to. I was very close to my mom all my life (1st born son-yadda yadda yadda) It was a year and a half after her death before I really cried for her. It takes quite a while to mentally process the death of a major figure in one's life. These things take time and you will be affected somewhat for a very long time-its a process that can't be rushed.

Hope your mom jumps in to DU head first. How about MomZombie for a handle? Everyone would know who she was!
