checking in from law school
Been in law school fulltime for a week and a half now, and this may be the final proof that I'm completely insane - I'm really enjoying myself so far.
The classes are all really interesting, my profs are whip-smart, and my fellow students all seem like pretty good eggs. Yeah, there's a lot of work (that's why this is the first time I've been back to DU in 2 weeks), but dammit - it's worth it! I'd rather spend 12+ hours a day on something I'm interested in than 8 hours a day stuck in a cubicle doing work I could care less about.

I hope all is well here in DU-land. I miss everybody a lot and I'll try to drop in when I can.

:loveya:

5. University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis
new school, just got ABA accredited - but they're not being shy about throwing their $$$ around to recruit top-notch faculty and staff and they've built an incredible campus right in the middle of downtown Mpls.

3. Sounds like you're right on track.
I remember what it was like to stop reading cause I was exhausted, but not because I was bored. I used my queen size bed as a desk, with all my notes and books spread out. Would fall asleep for a catnap, wake up and just start reading again. My cats did not like this arrangement and preferred to plop their furry butts right in the middle of whatever lawbook I was reading.

6. well, I managing to sleep in 5 hour increments at least
maybe the worst is yet to come, but I really don't feel like the time demands are significantly worse than my old job was during busy periods (and now nobody is paging me at 3 AM - hooray!)

heck, I've even got a little time to stop by DU and gab.
