:eyes:

GD is turning into a Dean Hate Zone. Getting to the point where I don't read it anymore. Why? Not because I can't argue back, but because it's the same old shit over and over.

It is in my best opinion Dean has become the most hated candidate on this board.

Sad.

1. I quit the GD board
because of all of the pointless Green/Nader bashing.

It's still good for getting some information though.

2. Liberals bashing liberals.
Good to see, eh? No wonder we're always being mocked by Republicans.

We can't even get along with our own KIND.

5. Yup
It never made much sense to me. I think we should be building each other up, and working for a good campaign. It's gonna take a lot of motiviation to beat the Bushies, and I'll feel a lot better voting for whoever does win the nomination in November, 2004, if the folks supporting him/her haven't spent all their time bashing my Candidate(s) in the primary season.

But the Lounge is a lot of fun, so it kinda makes up for it...

7.  sounds like a new poll is in order
"Who's the most hated candidate on DU?"

Seriously though, what IS the deal with all the bashing? It's one thing to be critical of the candidates. They are, after all, trying to win our votes. But, a lot of folks here seem to take it to a destructive extreme. Are they disrupters or just short-sighted lamers?

8. I don't hate Dean. Unless....

I find out that Wesley Clark is planning to run.

Dean stated in Austin yesterday that Clark would make a good VP( per a report on Scarborough Country last night). Sunday on, "Late Edition" Dean spoke of Clark in the V.P. Edition. Even though this was in response to stupid Wolf's question, he should not have spoke of it unless he knows for a fact that Clark isn't planning to run. If I find out that Clark is running, then I think what Dean is doing is lower than low. He would in essence be saying that no one should take Clark seriously as a "presidential" candidate. If Clark runs, it's on with me and Dean.

9. Only for a few "draft" some guy types.
It's been a continuous attck by them on Dean, why? They percieve him as the man to beat here.

I'm sure on less Liberal?Progressive sites Kerry is their main target.

Don't worry, it'll all be over someday...

10. Two draft Clarkers posted unflattering threads. That's hardly...
a movement. Of course we see him as the guy to beat. That doesn't mean we have to bash him to do it. We have confidence in our guy. We don't have to troll the internet to find obsure websites and blogs to post unflattering articles.

If I say that I don't think Clark can beat bush, that's my honest opinion. If you consider that bashing, then you need to look the word up in the dictionary.

11. I recently saw a post in GD about Liebermn being on FOX acting like a puke
I forgot which one, but it wasn't pretty. Nor was my response, which I kept toned down because I didn't want it bleeped! :D

12. Hardly...
... I don't agree with you. I see lots of 'hate' threads for many candidates, Dean gets more than his share because he "stole" the thunder of the self-annointed.

Most of the posts come from the same group of people who have nothing really to say, and say it over and over with vehemence. Sorta like " I'm not voting for anyone who eats the cherry off the top of his sundae". Easily written off.
