I'm Back online (Greetings from the Middle East)
Well at least I am partially online. I am still waiting for the computers in my office and home to be hooked up. However, right now I am sitting in a cyber cafe at the university typing this.

The trip was a bugbear (uhhhhh NEVER fly Northwest airlines). However, after they screwed everything up we ended up on Delta and then Emirates Air. One word, Emirates air is the best airline in the world. If you have to fly anywhere in asia, take them if you can. Even in tourist class, they fed you and watered you virtually every hour. And should I say ROOMY.

Having now experienced the heat in the Gulf region, I cannot imagine what our troops are experiencing. I have lived in Florida and West Texas and I, frankly, am melting. 40-50 degrees centigrade every day with 60+% humidity is painful.

I have to run, but expect to hear more from me later.

Ciao...

2. Whoo hoo, Jerald.
I have been checking your blog every day! I will find the link and post it. You get busy on it.

If it is hotter than here, that is really really bad.

A :toast: to Jerald and family for surviving the trip!

6. Glad you arrived safe and sound
Can't wait to hear more about your adventures. The heat does sound miserable! When do the temps begin to go down and what would "winter" temps be?
