1. Ahhhhh...heart attack on a plate!
A pub here serves Mars or Snickers wrapped in pastry dough, fried, with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. TO. DIE. FOR. Of course, that had better be the only meal you eat that day - there's your calories! :D

being deep-fried.

I had some cheese curds last Saturday after leafletting for Kucinich last Saturday. I know they're wicked, but they taste SOOO good.

16. OOOOOHHHH It's the deep fried Snicker bar for me..
No, Pronto Pups, well maybe cheese curds, but then there's mini donuts, but then again the pork chop on a stick, I can't leave out Sweet Martha's Cookies, but the french fries are good... I'll have to go back and try them all again maybe then I can decide.

7. Absolutely delicious
The batter is unsweetened, so it actually "tones down" the sweetness of the candy bar. They roll it in a little powdered sugar to finish it off. And with the Milky Way, you get all that gooey warm caramel action... yummy yummy.

Sounds like the booth should say "Diabetes on a Stick."

That should hit your bloodstream like hot 90 weight gear oil into ice water. Does sound yummy, tho.

9. Yummy!
Had my first deep fried candy bar in June of this year at a fish and chips place n the Village. I think that was a mars bar, not a milky way, but suprisingly tasty, and not how I envisioned it.

The poster who said it tones the sweetness was right - it really does.

10. Fresh from its appearance at the Wisconsin State Fair
I walked around that one with my video camera getting shots of every kind of food stand the fair has to offer: funnel cakes, fried dough, God-knows-what-on-a-stick, Hawaiian "shave ice".

Will be cutting them into a montage set to music - any suggestions (other than "Fat" by Weird Al)?

13. I saw Deep Fried Twinkies
at the amusement park this summer. I didn't see anyone order one, or eat one, and I didn't dare. I was afraid of the chemical reaction between hot oil and multiple preservatives.

14. Last Saturday
at the CA State Fair I had deep-fried Snickers and my son had a deep-fried Twinkie. Last year it was a deep-fried 3Musketeers. Love it!
