Knology Cable Company (one for the good guys!)
Knology Cable took over our cable company from Verizon about 4 months ago....Man..what a difference!

I called Knology about 2 weeks ago and asked them if I could get a cheaper rate for the cable modem and digital TV.

The Woman says: Well, let's see...How about if we knock 12 dollars off your bill
and give you Cinamax (sp?) and one HBO channel for free? ...Cool!!

Today I called and said that my Rabbit had chewed the Remote (as Rabbits Love to do)

Christ!...in about 45 minutes this Guy in a suit shows up at my door with a new Remote and 2 vouchers for 4 free movies on Pay-Per View.

Damn, I've heard of good customer service but this is ridiculous! :)

1. We have Comcast...
And thus, some of the highest rates in the nation. Relatively rural, you see. No competition. Service brings new meaning to the word "average" as well.

On the other hand, I do not have cable. I cannot afford it. Small loss.

3. I understand. Knology has a "Package Deal" (here)
..that lets me get digital TV, Cable modem, 11 channels of Cinemax, one HBO for 77 dollars...I'm pretty happy with the deal.
