Baja Mexico DUers, check in and tell me about Baja California

My son and I are going down in Sept to check out places for me to retire. He has been there, says its great. I need all the resources, ideas, stuff you can post as to where the best place is to retire, what to expect, where YOU think the best place to live is for someone over 50, etc...just fill me in on whatever you can tell me..thanks so much for any information you can give me...

google it..there's a lot of gorgeous beach..and it's not as built up as the pacific side.. very friendly people
