Two John Sayles movies about labor issues in the early 20th Century. Neither one's perfect, but Sayles' heart is definitely in the right place.

"The Full Monty" reminded me of both.

Then there's "Mystic Pizza" for the food service crowd and "Crossing Delancey" or "You've Got Mail" for those of us who work for independent bookstores. :-)

is a very enjoyable movie about working stiffs.

The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit is a bit long-winded and melodramatic, but Gregory Peck is great as a guy who has to choose between career and family.

The Apartment concerns an unusual workplace-related problem.

The Conversation is about a guy who is consumed by his work.
