Recommend a good Pay for download Music site!
I don't want free music.

I want to contribute to my favorite artists while I listen to their music. Are there any internet sites you'd recommend as having resources on a pay for basis?

...but I haven't tried anything else. Also....iTunes has decent streaming radio.

3. They suck because of their proprietary format
Even though you pay for the music you can only play it on iTunes or an iPod; iTunes doesn't let you convert the music you own to mp3.

(there are a couple workarounds but they're a pain)

6. Rhapsody..
http://www.rhapsody.com

$10 flat monthly fee for unlimited use of their library while online..

.80 per song to burn to CD..

It's the best option if you spend time on the Internet

7. I gotta second that one.
I had tons of MP3s but I deleted them all and went legal. The thought of streaming-on-demand didn't sound too appealing at first, but just try it out. 600,000 tracks, organized into Genres and Albums, and each one will start within a second or two. Its great, and like Murdock said, you can burn them for 79 cents.

You can download it and play the first 30 seconds of anything in the library without signing up. See if you can warm up to the idea.
