1. I just watched "Fire Walk With Me"
Edited on Mon Jul-26-04 11:15 AM by skypilot
... for the umpteenth time last weekend. I think it is one of the most underrated David Lynch films.

6. Some of the music...
...got right under my skin. For example, the creepy music that was playing when the two FBI agents (Keifer Sutherland, Chris Isaak) were doing the autopsy on Theresa Banks and also that droning club music in the scene where Laura and Donna go to that hellish club in Canada.

7. I watch it once a year also.
I never tire of that movie, and I wasn't a Twin Peaks fanatic or anything in the '90s. I came to the whole Twin Peaks thing about a year late, but I love that movie. I really love the ending with Laura just laughing and laughing.

10. "I am the Muffin"
I do love FWWM and the soundtrack. My favorite tune from it is "The Pink Room", which is the one playing when Donna, Laura and the others go to that raunchy bar/club in Canada.

I do agree that FWWM is the best Lynch film, at least of the ones I've seen. I watch it several times a year. I also have the entire Twin Peaks collection on VHS, including the pilot.

11. If anybody
has the original two hour pilot of this series, I would love to beg/borrow/buy a copy from you.

For some reason, they released the whole series on DVD WITHOUT the PILOT! :wtf:

What's a "0 region" DVD? Can that be played here in the States?

On edit, I just checked, it can be played in all regions, apparently.

SWEET! Now I just need money...

12. What are you talking about?
BOB did it. There's no ifs ands or buts about it. Bob did it.

If you don't get that then you don't get Twin Peaks.

15. I doubt it will

Unless Lynch does it himself like he did with Eraserhead. Twin Peaks Vol 1 has been out for about 3 years with no word of a follow-up. I'm hoping that Bravo will reshow it again, now that I have a set-top dvd recorder.

16. LOL!
I used to be such a Twin Peaks head, I named my first born while watching it. Head back in time....Spring 1991. I just found out I was pregnant and we were coming up with girl's names. Tossing out a few and then Sherilynn Fenn comes on, "How about Audrey?" I said. He agreed, so come February, we have a girl and Audrey it was. Classic and elegant I always thought. Now it turns out I have a beautiful young lady with dark hair and blue eyes. Who'd have thunk it?
More info than anyone needed, but it always make a nice story when the subject of Twin Peaks comes up.

An old pic from 1997.

17. See you in the trees . . .
Twin Peaks is great (FWWM, too). It's amazing that network TV was able to produce something like that, if only for a little while.
