6. Thanks! We saw Wynton Marsalis and Itzhak Perlman
earlier this year (different shows, of course!) We're taking advantage of our empty nest by going to shows and concerts!

7. We got to buy them in advance because we're subscribers
to the University of Texas Performing Arts Center. They're high but as my husband said, "This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity." Thanks! :toast:

5. Seems like yesterday that 16 year old Jimmy Vaughn was the baddest
guitar slinger in Dallas.First band I ever saw him in was called The Chessmen.Around 1968. He's still got all his chops.Enjoy the show.

9. I've never seen him in person, just on Austin City Limits.
It will be fun to see them both close up! I love to watch how musicians really get into their music. You should come on down from Dallas and catch the show! Thanks!

12. Have a great time Longhorn (and hubby too) !
Enjoy the show. Jimmy doesn't play nearly enough around these parts, considering Austin is his home. And BB what can you say about the legend. A show to see BB alone would be a great show. BB and Jimmy well that is special. Enjoy! Sonia
