DU Convention Photos -- Day 5 -- Edwards Speech, etc.
Wednesday was another amazing Day in Boston. As usual, we did some volunteering during the day. Then we went to the convention and saw some of the speeches, including the entire Edwards family, who were excellent. The Fleet Center was a sea of red Edwards signs. After the convention, we went to a party for New York Democrats, hosted by Steve Buscemi and Alec Baldwin, with Brian McKnight providing the entertainment.

Also, don't miss EarlG's pictures, which are posted right here.

Apparently they eat these things around here.

But I'm pretty sure that this is not the way to eat it.

The protest cage, which was virtually empty.

Bill Richardson addresses the crowd.

We scored floor passes on Wednesday, but we couldn't actually get onto the floor. They were only letting delegates and elected officials in. :(

Jennifer Granholm

Note the wall behind us. We got seats in the very last row of the Fleet Center. (So much for floor passes.)

Here's the rest of us.

Nalinee and Dave wave their flags...

...while Amy and Tamieka take a nap.

Youngred shows his support for the Kerry-Edwards ticket, and Elizabeth Edwards.

Cate Edwards

Elizabeth!

Elizabeth Edwards speaks.

A sea of red Edwards signs.

The next Vice President of the United States of America

Little John Edwards.

Edwards at the podium and on the big screen.

This giant, block-long sign was outside Fenway park.

8. haha
more harp in oz than I had for St. Patty's day and more vodka in oz than I had for my bday. Heh, oh how funny it is to accuse another innocent of being drunk, after I was accused of being drunk back in March. Oh and everyone, I was so sober that night, they may not remember now but hte people I was talking ot that night know well that I was sober.

If you could call them that. It was Budweiser after all. But do note...I wasn't drinking beer all evening.

11. We walk him four times a day.
In between, he hangs out in the hotel room. He also goes to my wife's office occasionally.
