Last minute decision. I have until Tuesday morning at 8:00am to have fun. What do I do and where do I go?

Don't gamble on the strip too much, odds are better downtown.

Also, if there is any way you can scare up a reservation at Emerils, do it. One of the best dining experiences of my life!

on a road trip w/my best friend and her daughter. I had to work, and somebody had to stay home and take care of the pets. Where are you staying? There are some inexpensive hotels off of Paradise Rd., though they've all probably hiked up the price this weekend. Just drive down the strip, you're sure to find something that peaks your interest. I'd recommend the MGM and Caesar's palace, but that's just my taste. Be sure to catch the Pirate show and the volcano at the Mirage/Treasure Island. There's also the water show at the Bellagio. If you're a Trekkie, there's the Star Trek show at the Las Vegas Hilton off of Paradise.

Sunday brunch: The champagne brunch buffet at Bally's. $50 per person but well worth it.

Seafood Brunch: The seafood buffet at Rio.

Show: I saw Mystere at Treasure Island. It was the 2nd Cirque show I'd seen and I thought it was terrific.

Gambling: For low-minimum high-energy gambling try Casino Royale. It's nothing to look at, but it draws a young, fun crowd.

Sights: The fountains at Bellagio, the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace. The shark exhibit at Mandalay Bay isn't bad either. See what traveling art shows are in town. Bellagio had a great Warhol exhibit when I was there in January.
