Can someone help answer this question for me
Bush was never elected so how can they call it Bush's re-election campaign. He was never elected in the first place so he can't possibly be re-elected. I don't get it.

1. He was voted in by the Electoral College, so, technically, he was elected
I usually just say he's running for election anyway.

He will lose by a large margin in November. Like father like son, one term and he's done.
