Pick an album!
I just found a Tower Records gift card in my glove compartment!
It's good for twenty bucks.

Your recommendations on an album purchase are appreciated.

What to buy? :)

1. Have no idea what your tastes are, but...
I'mpartial to:

Live/Dead (1971) Skull and Roses Album.
Live at the New School (Gene Krupa's last gig)

Kinda 2 different heads, though....

4. Very eclectic
II'm into ALL music --I have Live Dead. It's worn out as a matter of fact and on vinyl.

I've got a lot of Krupa but not that one...
:)

3. Skip the seventies stuff
anything by Le Tigre is great
I like the New Pornographers
Belle & Sebestian is great too.

If your taste are more mainstream, Coldplay is good interesting mellow modern rock.

5. Interesting comment on CNBC about Coldplay
Brian Williams said " Coldplay proved that modern bands can still make great music"

I have trouble picturing him with a beer smoking a joint by the fireside though....

Edited on Sat Aug-30-03 08:57 PM by Paragon
New CDs from John Mayer, Seal, David Bowie, Dave Matthews, Sting, and Dido are all coming out in September.

Not to mention a certain group putting out their first album in 10 years on the first Tuesday of October...:D
