12. Was this based on the Gospel of Luke?

Several scenes struck me as being direct Christian allegory. The aigg-eatin' scene at the end, when everyone was a eating a scoop of Luke's scrambled eggs, looked like a communion, aiggs being the body of Christ. Am I nutz for seeing it this way?

19. I just noticed something.

Doesn't that look like a styrofoam cooler in that picture? And wasn't Cool Hand Luke supposed to have been during the late 40's, early 50's? Seems like they didn't have styrofoam coolers back then.
