1. I voted for California Girls, although
everytime I hear it now I can't help but think of Nicole Simpson.

Sorry to be a downer here.

3. There are two sublime Beach Boys songs
God Only Knows
Don't Worry Baby

The rest are nice fluff. But on those two songs, the face of God was touched.

5. I always found it interesting that...

...whenever there was a Beach Boys tune that conveyed true emotional intensity, Brian Wilson himself always did the lead vocals, rather than having Mike Love handle them. Which, considering Love's limited range, was a good thing!

4. California Girls is so true
No more gorgeous women in the world. One song that didn't get noticed was In My Room.

7. Didn't care much for the Beach Boys, but...
I chose "God Only Knows" because of the version Elvis Costello did with the Brodsky Quartet. It's heavenly.
