I enjoyed Gibson's article The Pickpocket, on the home page,
BUT....look at the picture.

It looks like * is riding a horse! And we know he never does that!

I just had to tell someone. This has been bothering me for a few days.:shrug:

1. I never would have guessed

pickpockets are well known to use covers, like the open magazine
and the suit coat draped over the pick hand... hides the action
better. Also, working as a team, they will have someone standing
in front of the mark with something to distract them (need directions,
cute baby or puppy, or argument between two people).

I didn't see anything that looked like he was horseback riding.

2. My eyes may be bleary from too much DU, but
the open magazine looked like ears, and the coat like the front part of the horse.

It throws me every time I go to the home page. Oh, well.
