SIIG makes a cheap device that will take your audio stream and broadcast it on an FM signal... you then tune your stereo (or car radio) to that FM frequency and bahdabing...
but reviewers were mixed... hard to set up to correct frequency, some interference problems, limited to 30 ft or so, and one complained of lack of quality audio signal.
Terk makes a wireless link ( comes in pairs, plug your audio point into the transmitter, and powered speakers into the receiver ). It's more expensive, but lots of positive reviews. Plus it will do more than audio (apparently). Negative is that it looks like a fairly sizable unit... probably on the order of a large desk phone.
I've used SIIG products (ATA adapters, other plug in cards) and they work fine... but I don't have their remote unit. I also have some Terk products for my stereo and they all work great.
The Terk unit is called the Terk Wavemaster 30.
I used an infrared wireless remote (I think it was a panasonic) and I wasn't happy with it... basically I wanted to wear headphones while in bed to watch TV without bothering roommates in the other room. Audio quality was poor and the range was very limited. No roommates anymore, so I've lost track of the device.
Good Luck
