I just picked up Tiffany's ashes from the vet

Tiffany passed away two weeks ago Monday at the age of 16-1/2. She lived a full and rich life full of love, turkey and Fancy Feast.

Before she came to me, she had been a show cat and was a champion in her breed (Balinese). She had a never-ending capacity for love for everyone. Amazingly, I'm not sad. I love to look at this picture of her when she was younger and remember her as a well-fed angel. She had the softest fur, it was like a cloud.

I will forever miss her but am honored I was lucky to spend 12 years with her. Rest in peace, my sweet little kitty.

I'm so sorry for your loss but you know that you gave her a long and happy life.

Somewhere another kitty is out there waiting to be given the same.

15. It would be a contest
The Cattbutt would sit under the table. I would see this paw come up over the table and start patting around untill it landed in food. The lick lick lick and it would start again.

Funny story about MOcat. Last night my wife is getting her haircut in the kitchen, so I move the cat dishes five feet away into the living room. Boy did that piss him off. He just sat there and Meowed, walk to his food, sniff and then go back to the original place and Meowed

Almost identical markings, except the paws on Flake are a little darker shade...

RIP Tiffany..

16. So sorry to hear that.
I lost my calico kitty, Ditto, just a little over a year ago. I have her ashes too and keep them in her favorite room where she liked to look out the window. I have lots of pictures of her and am happy to have had her in my life. My little girl lived to be 17 1/2. Sounds as though Tiffany had a very happy life. I am sure you will have many memories of her to find comfort in.

Tiffany was a beautiful cat. Now she is waiting for you up at the Rainbow Bridge. I just lost two cats within the last year, so I can related to how you are feeling. It takes a long time to get over the loss, and time heals most wounds, but the memories you have of her will pull you through.

20. I've been where you are
Last year, I lost my beloved Rottweiler. He was my baby, a 170 pound "couch potato". His spleen ruptured suddenly and without warning, and he had to be rushed to the vet's. There, my family and I had to make the very difficult decision to end his suffering. I bawled like a baby and held him as he slipped away from me.

Now, I have his ashes in a gold urn on a shelf in my china cabinet, along with his picture and favorite teddy bear. In a wierd way, its comforting to know he's there.

My deepest sympathy on the loss of your kitty.
