How can you doubt it? Scientists make mistakes. Prove that it doesn't work. It works for me and that's all I care about. What's the harm? Why are you so disrespectful? Our brains just can't understand it. Today's scientists can't measure the effects with the tools currently available. The only people who are foolish enough to try for Randi's one-million-dollar prize are the fakes. No TRUE psychic nor respectable astrologer would ever need to try for that tainted money (if it exists). The negative energy flowing from the observers would interfere with any tests and distort the readings and accuracy.

I am the unworthy person, doomed to be hated by all and doomed to forever be alone. No one will ever love me or be my true friend. It is my fate to walk on the outside of humanity that shuns me. My only hope is to do something great, something that will be of use to them like all the other shunned scientists, philosophers, and artists.
That's what I thought when I was growing up. Maybe it was because I didn't think that my parents loved me. I had a hard time fitting in at school too. I was one of those geeky children. My mother didn't teach me how to match clothing either or made sure that I looked acceptable going to school. She told me that I was ugly and didn't take care of myself but she never helped me out with that either. My husband thinks that it is funny that he knows more about make up, bras, leg shaving, and other basic girly things that my mother expected me to magically know on my own.
Anyway, in college I began to realize that not everyone automatically hated me. I let go of my notion about being the unworthy person and realized that most people don't hate me when they meet me. Then I was able to really make friends and not question the advances of decent men once I realized that everyone didn't automatically see me as less than them.
I am married, and I have true friends. I can talk with people and sit next to strangers in public places. I still have insecurities about myself sometimes, but I no longer see myself as the unworthy person.
