1. My "cure" is pre-emptive.
Take an aspirin and a down a big glass of water before bed.

How about a bloody mary?

2. Yup
I never did find anything that would cure a hangover - except time.

But before bed, that aspirin and as much water as you can drink DOES help.

4. never do that with Tylenol - bad for your liver!!!
I learned that during alcohol awareness week when I was in college. I was on a quiz panel representing my sorority. Of course we went to happy hour first and became really aware of alcohol before I was on the quiz panel. I still came in 2nd place. (some nerd in a nerd club beat me)

3. Milk
thistle, chlorella..... but taken the night before.... take two of these articles... and call me in the morning.

>>The consumption of alcohol results in the formation of two very toxic compounds, acetaldehyde and malondialdehyde. These compounds generate massive free-radical damage to cells throughout the body. The free-radical damage generated by these alcohol metabolites creates an effect in the body similar to that caused by radiation poisoning. That is the reason why people feel so sick the day after consuming too much alcohol. If the proper combination of antioxidants is taken at the time the alcohol is consumed or before the inebriated individual goes to bed, the hangover and much of the cellular damage caused by alcohol may be prevented.<<

An ancient remedy
>>Milk thistle (Silybum marianum) has been used to treat liver ailments, gallstones, and other maladies for some 2,000 years. The herb grows as a weed in many parts of the world, its purple flowers and prickly, milk-veined leaves a common sight along the East and West coasts. The German Commission E lists milk thistle as an approved herb for "toxic liver damage, inflammatory liver disease, and cirrhosis," with no side effects other than an occasional mild laxative action.<<

9. Here's some pointers from a russian...
..before drinking, have 2 big slices of bread with butter...will absorb alcohol, you won't get too drunk (it works, i've tried it)...if however you forget, and get trashed, and feeling nautious (spell?) next morning, take a few big gulps of pickle juice (yes, right out of the jar)...it settles your stomach within 10 minutes...but you still have the headache

16. l like this one.
thanks!

One time in the USSR (I studied there one summer - does that make me evil?)

we drank russian gin. That stuff is used to remove paint and rust. I never, ever felt so bad. If I could have lifted a piston, I would have used it.

13. Quart of gatorade
Helps the dehydration. Sugar and salt helps too. Then Advil if you have to do anything. If not go back to bed.

19. Lots of Water - The rest is bullshit
Unless you are using an IV, the V-C and V-B won;t get absorbed fast enough to help much in teh mornign, buit they will lessen the effect during the day.

Heres a tip. While drinking, have a glass of water for every 2-3 drinks. (If you are very thin, try doing it for ever 1-2 drinks) Then when you get to bed, have another glass. The water in your system will help prevent dehdration while you sleep.

In the morning, I do the gatoraid, advil and wintergreen lifesaver cure. (The lifesaver is just my favorite flavor lifesavor and the sweetness helps. If you prefer trident or soem other sweet flavor, go for it.)

Why does Whataburger taste so much better at 2:00am? It's good normally, but after a night out, it's awesome!
