serial killers
are all serial killers repubs ? i was watching A&E last night and they were covering Herb Baumeister who killed an unknown number of gay men before cowardly killing himself when he about to be caught. well, they were talking to his widow and she so proudly stated that she and Herb were repubs from their college days onward and how they didn't take part in the protests or associated with hippy causes during the late 60's. i seem to remember that quite a few of the other apprehended serial killers were also of that party namely, Ted Bundy.

1. well, clearly being republican is a sign
of being deeply disturbed - I think it's more than just character flaw. Repressive, mean, selfish, small-minded, anti-everything, and no holds barred, ever. They are a different, less evolved kind of human, and they're everywhere.

I think the first thing we should do after Kerry is in office is to float a constitutional bill to defend the sanctity of marriage from Republicans, since they are clearly immoral, and it's a choice.

We'll give them, let's see, uh, uncivil unions. Yeah. The shoe fits.

2. Bundy worked for the Republican
party and I seem to recall that John Wayne Gacy also worked for a party but don't remember which one.

3. No.
John Wayne Gacy was some high muck a muck in local Democratic Politics in his area, even had a pic of himself with Rosalyn Carter.

4. not in louisiana
we've had at least 3 serial killers in our area over the last couple of years. It is believed that there is still one possibly on the loose. Before Dereck Todd Lee was captured, the Baton Rouge serial killer "task force" was telling everyone that the killer was likely a very nice looking possibly upper class white man with charm (republican *cough*). When they made their arrest, many were quite shocked to see it was a large black man from a lower income background. I'm afraid that maybe the "task force" was also caught up in the stereotypical serial killer profile.

They assumed that since there never seemed to be forced entry to the homes of the murdered women, that he must have been someone with charm or someone they knew. Now it seems that what actually happened was: the killer would knock on the victims door, when they answered he would introduce himself outstretching his hand for what would be interpretted as a handshake. Then when he had the victims hand, he could overpower her and gain entry to the home.
