...probably because I've never understood the whole James Bond thing. I hate that character and always wanted to see him bite it. I've always felt the same way about James Bond that I feel about any macho character played by Stallone or Schwartzenegger. You know they will prevail in the end so there is no suspense whatsoever. I think the only time I ever found James Bond interesting was in one movie(I can't remember which one) where someone put a tarantula in his bed and he freaked the fuck out. It was refreshing to see him lose his cool for once and be more human. Otherwise...As for Sean Connery specifically, to me he comes off as James Bond in EVERYTHING; just too damned smug and resourceful. I think the only reason they gave him the Oscar for "The Untouchables" was because he did something new in that movie, he died.

Without watching Spiderman, Batman, Superman movies I know that he will win. Yet people still watch and enjoy.

Not considering personality or political beliefs, hell yes he's sexy! More so now in old age than when he was playing Bond. That shot from "Zardoz" isn't bad, but I thought he looked better in "The Name of the Rose," for instance.

He's aged well and looks better to me now than when he was young.
