WORST CAT LITTER EVER!!!
I love Arm & Hammer cat litter! I mean, you use that stuff and you just never ever smell your litter box except for the brief seconds after the cat uses it and even then that clears up quickly.

So A&H comes out with a Multi-Cat brand of litter with crystals in it. That stuff just REEKS a really nasty odor even though I scoop out once a day (I replace & clean the litter box once a week).

The only reason I'm still using it is because payday is tomorrow and that's the only cat litter I'll have til then.

The best way to describe the stuff is it smells like wet, sharply pugent litter. Don't waste your money on it - I'm switching back to my unscented A&H!!!

1. Yeah
I don't know why anyone would buy that crystals stuff. I'm suspicious of anything that isn't a pure organic product anyway. And Lily and Pad Thai say A&H regular rules.

2. I use Fresh Step :).
And I also use a covered litterbox (one of those dome ones) and I never smell anything from the furballs. . . .

I've also used the "Worlds Best" brand which works extremely well, but is way too expensive.

Natures Miracle has started making litter now too, I may give that a try to see how well it works.

3. OH they have a covered litter box
But that smell was so horrible it still reeked.

Abbott is funny when he uses the box. He'll have his tail end in the box but keeps his head sticking out of it.

4. LOL . . .
Quinn has gotten into doing the same thing he did when he was a kitten now that there's another cat around again. . . he perches on top of the litterbox while she's in there.

It was funny when he was a kitten because he was tiny and would pounce on the big cats as they came out. . . now he almost takes the cover off the box with him when he gets up there. . . this boy is FAT :).

6. Not yet. . . she wants to be friends, but he's still a little upset. . .
I think he'll mellow out though. After all, he does outweigh her by about 10 pounds :).

10. Feline Pine rocks!
And there's a generic knock off at PetSmart that is not quite as expensive.

9. Cat litter follies at my girlfriend's house...
Buster is a big fellow and "misses" the box a lot (stands in the box, lets fly over the side) Oreo has some kind of digging fetish where she hangs on to the rim with her front paws and "pedals" her way to the bottom of the box, and the other 2 scoop great pawfuls of the stuff all over the floor.

Grains of litter EVERYWHERE around the house.

I'm so tired of hearing her go on and ON about vaccuuming up cat litter!
My fish leave their gravel in the tank, thankfully....

13. Price Chopper Scented Clumping Kitty Litter
is the worse... it doesn't clump, it's not scented, now I know why it was 2 for 1 on sale.

So far the best kind I found was at Wally World... Cat's Pride Premium Scoopable. Keeps odor down, actually clumps instead of turning into wet concrete, and doesn't track as bad as PC brand. And it's cheaper...

16. I use all-natural cat litter
... after reading how the 'scoopable' litter can cause health problems for some cats. I use a natural citrus litter that smells WONDERFUL. And best thing is, it breaks down the pee so there is less to scoop.
