I'm resigning from DU...I'm bored to death!
Is it me or is it "slow" around here today. If I read one more post about that lying, cheating NJ Gov I'm gonna....well...resign, I guess...until things get a little livelier and much saner around here...and what is this crap with toasters? I really hate inside jokes, especially in this forum. :eyes:

1. Did the NJ gov
get caught with a toaster? Wow, that's what I call lively.

2. Well, I didn't know about the toaster thing either.
So I broke down and ASKED.
You get one when you come out as a lesbian.
Which just cracks me up, in some weird way.
Go read my post about outsourcing the presidency. It got NO hits, and it's probably on page 2 or 3 by now.
I thought it was funny AND topical, and I didn't even write it.
But I wish I had.
Sane?
Here?
You jest?
;-)

3. ah, that toaster confusion again

If you're a gay woman, YOU get the toaster oven when you sleep with a woman that has never slept with a woman before. GEEZ! :pals:

heh heh and who says it's boring around here? I get to explain the toaster over thing at least once a week. HA! It's just a bit of fun.

Oh and on that Governor of NJ thing, it's never, ever a good idea to sleep with an employee of either sex. I'm sure the Repugs were about to blow, I mean explode him out of the water. God, metaphors aren't working here. Bad thing! Bad thing!

4. The toaster thing doesn't work with men?
What do they get for a helping out gift?

I guess that Will on Will and Grace would have to come up with something like Ellen Degeneres character in the "Puppy" episode of her show. Maybe Will and his friend, ya know, I don't watch the show so I don't know what the more effiminate guy's name is, can come up with something catchy that guys could get. On edit, catchy as in an appliance.

Yeah, I think this could get a little strange. Better to just be happy with a new friend. :)
