I'm reading the reviews on Yahoo (since the movie wasn't screened for critics - your first clue right there) and they're pretty brutal.

I think I'll pass...

2. Actually it's based on a comic book series from 1990

As for game movies, I actually liked the "Resident Evil" movie that came out a few years back. There will be a sequel to it coming out this year. But then I like a good B movie sometimes.

12. half past dead got like a 0% rating

maybe because Ja Rule not only sucks at "rapping" (in quotes because what he does is NOT rap) but sucks tremendously at acting too. That and Stephen Segal, unless he's in a Mountain Dew commercial, is the worst actor in the history of theater (both live action and movie genres).

For what it was, exploitation, blah blah blah.

Predators: Badass

Aliens: Badass

Predators and Aliens hunting people in the dark: BADASS.

Predators and Aliens invading Earth to use it as a staging ground for the ultimate battle, which, of course, will be resolved either via a high powered explosion or some sort of biochemical agent: Lame As Shit

Sci-Fi/Comic movies have become worse than the Fan Fiction that they inspire, lately. Apparently no one told Writer/Director Paul Anderson that people only liked the Mortal Kombat movie because it was SO bad it was campily funny. . . I could have written a better plot outline for AvP by pissing in the snow.
