The dumb are easily amused. It's us obnoxiously intelligent dudes who are jaded and bored.

I have French, German, American Indian, Irish, English, Scotts, and various mongrel confederate mutts in my tree. So, I would reckon, do most white folk in Tennessee, home of the former (and current) Cherokee Nation and numerous intertribal treks by refugees from the UK and Europe. The local dialect is closely akin to certain UK dialects.

Wouldn't be surprised if I had some black in me somewhere back down the line. (Wouldn't mind if I had some more, in fact: ultra-white skin is a bummer.)

16. I think it has to do with the fact that
both the Germans and the Irish were the "new immigrants" in the same time period. Both were the low men on the totem pole so to speak.

Italian.... American born... second generation. Grandpa fought in WWI, Dad in WWII along with two uncles.... brother was career military, I missed the Vietnam war draft... barely. Thank my lucky stars.

Many people think I look full blooded Italian. The funny thing is that when I was growing up, I did not look at ALL like my brother. He was lighter skinned, brown hair with freckles, brown eyes and shorter than me. I'm darker skinned, black hair, green eyes and I bit of a big nose.

For the longest time I thought I was adopted. But as the years have gone by, I look very much like my dad.

I am kind of dark skinned, brown eyes and I have dark hair. Alot of people have asked me if I am Italian but as far as I know I have no Italian blood in me, I quess I have more traits from my American Indian bloodline.
