Did I report my return to relative civilization?
If I did, I can't find it with the search.

Anyway, I am again on dry land and only have to make my way back to NYC from Halifax now.... by car.

And how are you adjusting to dry land again? Are the floors moving? Such a damn weird feeling.

2. Ireland to Halifax, 62ft boat.... great time
and the floors have just stopped moving now after 36 hours ashore. Sleeping in a bed instead of a hammock is a bit of a change, and I am sorry to miss the next leg down to FL, but I don't do Hurricanes and I need to get home.

I love sailing. Where in Ireland did you sail from? I love Ireland even more than sailing.

Don't blame you for avoiding hurricanes -- at least at sea. Apparently some of it will be passing through your neck of the woods tomorrow.
